This facility is a 114-bed psychiatric center currently expanding toward an acute-level care setting. We are looking for compassionate and skilled nurses with experience working in behavioral health populations ages 5-18.Compensation
  • Local RN Pay: $58.00/hour
  • Weekly Gross Pay: $2,088.00
  • Schedule: Per Diem/ 12-hour shift
  • Overtime Pay: $87.00/hourFacility Details

    • Cerner EMR system utilizedResponsibilities
      • Provide direct psychiatric nursing care to pediatric and adolescent behavioral health patients
      • Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and behavioral changes
      • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
      • Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams
      • Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients
      • Complete accurate charting and documentation using Cerner EMRQualifications & Requirements
        • Active Arizona RN License
        • Minimum 1 year of behavioral health/psychiatric nursing experience required
        • Experience working with patients ages 5-18 required
        • Current BLS Certification required
        • Cerner experience required
        • Strong communication and crisis intervention skills
        • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced behavioral health environmentPreferred Qualifications
          • Previous acute psychiatric facility experience
          • Experience with pediatric/adolescent behavioral health populations
